How the Campaign Works
The campaign site will thoroughly explain what the MLL Alliance of Knights is while encouraging visitors to join as actual members of the MLL. The social media channels needed for effective and real time operation will also be set up on their designated portals (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Vine, WhatsApp etc.) The hashtags will especially play a major role in creating a so called social umbrella for people to use when tackling everyday issues online. For example ”I’d love to talk to somebody today #MLLAlliance”
The people in need of assistance with a problem will post a message on a social media channel of their own choosing and the person willing to help can locate and respond to the request through the hashtag on Twitter or Facebook for example. The hashtags will be important as they are not tied to any specific channel and will help with the moderation and following the different problems people are facing and being assisted with.

We’ll build a comprehensive campaign site explaining what it means to be a knight and what the Mannerheim League of Child Welfare stands for. The social media profiles will also be created. Thusly anyone can become a knight by responding to a request or asking for help. The MLL can moderate and follow the online discussion in real time even with modest resources. And while anyone can be a knight through their actions, the moderators/agents are officially a part of MLL.
